Teen Lounge

Teen Lounge

Our Teen Lounge is for library visitors grades 6–12. This enclosed space is a great place to meet friends, work on homework or play board games. It includes two large monitors for connecting to laptops and gaming systems. There's plenty of seating at the countertop-height table when you want to tackle a writing assignment and other seating and small table arrangements when you just want to relax. 

Use of the Teen Lounge does not require a reservation or a WPLD library card, but users need to sign in at the Youth Services Desk.

Teen Study Rooms

Use one of our three Study Rooms in the Youth Services Department for collaborating on class projects, working on homework or private tutoring sessions. 

Study Rooms may be reserved up to seven days in advance by WPLD cardholders. Same-day reservations and walk-ins are welcome for all Library visitors. The maximum reservation length is three hours. Limit 1 reservation per day.

Room 3: table and booth/bench seating for 4, HDMI monitor

Available for ages up to 17 or an adult with a child; 8 year olds and up can make a reservation.

Join the Teen Advisory Board! 

Do you want your voice to be heard at the Library? Being a member of the Teen Advisory Board is a great way to share your opinion on things like new title suggestions and future programming.

The Teen Advisory Board requires members to:


Members of the Teen Advisory Board are expected to do the following every three months:

  • Attend at least one T.A.B. meeting
  • Participate in at least one Teen event other than a T.A.B. meeting
  • Volunteer at least one hour
