There are four public computers in the Youth Services Department for use for 1 hour—extensions available upon request if no one is waiting.
Our Teen Lounge is for library visitors grades 6–12. This enclosed space is a great place to meet friends, work on homework or play board games. It includes two large monitors for connecting to laptops and gaming systems. There's plenty of seating at the countertop-height table when you want to tackle a writing assignment and other seating and small table arrangements when you just want to relax.
Use of the Teen Lounge does not require a reservation or a WPLD library card, but users need to sign in at the Youth Services Desk.
Use one of our three Study Rooms in the Youth Services Department for collaborating on class projects, working on homework or private tutoring sessions.
Study Rooms may be reserved up to seven days in advance by WPLD cardholders. Same-day reservations and walk-ins are welcome for all Library visitors. The maximum reservation length is three hours. Limit 1 reservation per day.
